The ACME LYRA is a multifaceted, LED moving head spot fixture designed for high-output production lighting in demanding environments, including outdoor installs and touring, thanks to its IP66 weather rating. Its 1,000-Watt white LED engine delivers up to 35,000 lumens at a native 8000K color temperature, providing punchy beam presence for long throws, aerial looks, and crisp projection.
Color, output modes, and control
The LYRA includes a CMY color mixing system, a fixed color wheel with five colors plus one high CRI filter, and linear CTO color correction from 2700K to 6700K for dialing in warmer whites or matching other fixtures and cameras. Output modes include Standard Mode (Ra>70) and HCRI Mode (Ra>90), with total output specified as Ra>70: 35,000 lumens and Ra>90: 25,600 lumens.
Control is via DMX512 and RDM, with five DMX protocol modes and channel options (22/30/31/39/40). The fixture supports firmware upgrades via DMX link and features a 4 touch button control panel with an LCD display for local setup.
Effects, framing, and projection tools
For effects and breakup, the LYRA offers one rotating gobo wheel with seven high-precision rotating gobos, a static gobo wheel with nine gobos, and a bidirectional animation wheel for layered motion effects. Beam shaping tools include two combinable prisms (4-facet prism and 4-facet linear prism), an iris, and a 4-blade shutter system that provides full blackout and rotates in both directions. Light and medium frost filters are included for softening edges and widening looks when needed.
Optics, movement, and physical details
A 160 mm frontal lens and a 6° to 50° zoom range help the fixture transition from tight, high-impact beams to wider spot coverage while maintaining sharp, crisp images throughout the range. Movement includes 540° pan and 260° tilt with automatic pan/tilt position correction, selectable 8- or 16-bit resolution, and a pan/tilt lock for handling and rigging.
Dimensions are 412 mm (16.2") W x 330 mm (13.0") D x 719 mm (28.3") H, and weight is 42 kg (92.6 lbs). Life expectancy is specified at 20,000 hours.
