The Chauvet Professional COLORado Solo Edge 3 is a low-profile, 1-meter IP65-rated RGBWL LED footlight designed for stage edges, cycloramas, architectural accents, and other applications where smooth, even coverage and clean white light matter. Its single-source lens helps deliver uniform output across the fixture, while the extended color temperature range supports looks from warm tungsten tones to crisp daylight.

Smooth wash output with accurate whites

With 112 quintuple-color (RGBWL) LEDs and a broad beam (111° horizontal, 120° vertical), the COLORado Solo Edge 3 is built to cover a wide area from close mounting positions without obvious hot spots. Output is rated at 17,698 lumens with total illuminance of 221 lux at 5 m. For white-light work, it offers a 2800 to 8000 K color temperature range (6600 K at full) and a CRI of 93 at 2800 K, supporting natural skin tones and more consistent on-camera rendering.

Marker lights for cues and stage safety

Fully controllable RGB marker lights make it easy to cue talent, identify positions, or clearly define the edge of a stage without needing separate tape or practicals. A stealth filter helps the fixture disappear visually when it is off, which is useful for sightline-sensitive stages and clean architectural installs.

Camera-friendly dimming and effects

Electronic dimming and strobing (0 to 30 Hz) are paired with selectable PWM frequencies of 1000 Hz, 2000 Hz, 4000 Hz, 6000 Hz, 25 kHz, or 64 kHz. This gives you options for flicker control in broadcast, livestream, and high-frame-rate capture. Built-in automated programs, customizable programs, and recall support allow quick looks and repeatability without rebuilding cues.

Outdoor-ready, alignment-friendly design

Designed for wet locations, the COLORado Solo Edge 3 carries an IP65 rating and includes a pressure equalizing M12 GORE valve. Seamless end-to-end alignment helps create continuous lines of light along a stage edge or scenic element, and the covered display is well-suited for touring and permanent installations.

Size and longevity

The fixture measures 39.37 x 8.85 x 2.51 in (1000 x 225 x 64 mm) and weighs 22 lb (10 kg). LED life expectancy is rated at 20,000 hours.
