To match the ever increasing creative demands, and technological advances disguise have launched the gx 2c media server, featuring even more GPU processing power, more capture, more storage, as well as 10-bit and HDR support. Built for professional real-time playback and show control workflows, the Disguise gx 2c is designed to sit at the heart of a media network, managing high-quality content output while integrating cleanly with video, audio, sync, and control infrastructure.
High-Quality Output and Capture for Show Environments
The gx 2c supports a dedicated DisplayPort 1.2 GUI output, plus two VFC output slots for flexible video output configurations. For ingest, it provides up to 8x 3G-SDI inputs, or 2x 2160p (Quad Split) via HD-BNC connectors, making it well-suited for multi-source capture and routing in production, broadcast, and live event setups.
Audio, Sync, and Control Connectivity
For audio integration, the server includes balanced analogue I/O (2x XLR output and 2x XLR input) and a 1/4-inch headphone jack for monitoring, along with digital ADAT/SPDIF I/O for interoperating with compatible digital audio systems. Synchronization and timing are supported via BNC genlock, helping maintain stable, synchronized video across a wider system.
Network and I/O for Media Pipelines
Networking is split to support typical show and media workflows, with Gigabit LAN for general network connectivity, a dedicated Gigabit LAN for Art-Net, and 2x 10Gb/sec LAN ports for media network throughput. Peripheral connectivity is handled via 5x USB 3.0 for fast device and accessory integration.
