The Robe Wash 250 XT is a compact moving head wash fixture built around a Philips MSD 250W/2 metal halide lamp and a 150 mm Fresnel lens for smooth, even wash coverage. With a manually adjustable 8° to 22° beam angle, it can be set for tighter punches or wider stage coverage, making it a practical choice for small to mid-sized venues, houses of worship, clubs, and touring rigs that need flexible front or back wash.
Control and Programming
Control is via USITT DMX-512 with 16 channels, plus built-in demo sequences for standalone operation and master/slave capability for linked fixtures. A 4-digit LED display supports quick addressing and setup, and the fixture includes a built-in analyzer to simplify fault finding. Pan and tilt can be operated in 8- or 16-bit resolution for either faster programming or smoother motion, with movement control options including tracking and vector modes.
Color, Beam Shaping, and Effects
Color tools include a wheel with 3 dichroic filters, 3200K and 5600K correction filters, a UV filter, and open, plus a full CMY mixing system (Cyan 0 to 100%, Magenta 0 to 100%, Yellow 0 to 100%) for a broad palette and precise tinting. An effect wheel adds a beam shaper and frost filter for softening output or widening texture, while the dimmer/shutter provides full-range dimming and variable strobe effects.
