The Turbosound TQ15 2-Way Loudspeaker is a processed passive, 2,200-Watt peak 15" full-range loudspeaker system designed for speech and music sound reinforcement. Engineered to work in conjunction with Lab Gruppen powered loudspeaker management systems, the TQ15 is well suited for FOH, sidefill, and delay line applications where consistent coverage and high output are required.

Driver and Horn Design for Clear, Controlled Coverage

The TQ15 loudspeaker features a 15" neodymium low frequency driver with a low mass voice coil for improved transient response, and a titanium dome 1.4" neodymium high frequency compression driver. High frequencies are loaded by an 80° horizontal by 30° vertical rotatable exponential horn paired with a dendritic plane wave transformer (DPWT) waveguide, making it easier to aim coverage as needed for the room and mounting orientation.

Processed Passive System Integration

All drivers are matched with an internal passive crossover network in a reflex-loaded enclosure, providing full-range performance from a single cabinet when used with the appropriate processing. With an 8 Ω impedance and high sensitivity (99.5 dB, 1 W @ 1 m), the TQ15 is designed to deliver strong SPL while integrating cleanly into managed system workflows.

Connectivity and Key Specifications

The rear panel connector plate carries 2 industry-standard twist-lock speaker connectors for input and link connections to additional enclosures. Frequency response is 52 Hz to 20 kHz (-3 dB) and 39 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB), with nominal dispersion of 80° H x 30° V. Power handling is 550 W continuous (IEC) and 2,200 W peak, with a maximum SPL of 139 dB peak. The enclosure is rated IP44, and measures 745 x 415 x 420 mm (29.33 x 16.34 x 16.54") at 23.5 kg (51.8 lbs).
