The continuing popularity of the ARRILITE 2000 inspired ARRI's lighting team to redesign and update this traditional, open-faced lamphead for modern film and television production. By utilizing the ARRIMAX reflector and optical system, light efficiency is increased and light distribution improved, which helps deliver a more usable, even field for keys, fills, and punchy background light.

Modernized Design for Set Use

The aluminum housing is more compact and about 400 g lighter than the previous model, helping reduce fatigue when repositioning lights and making rigging easier. Aluminum construction also supports heat dissipation during extended operation.

Faster, Tool-Free Servicing

Bulb changes are streamlined with a front door frame that opens in a similar way to the ARRI M18, so no screws have to be removed and no tools of any kind are needed. The ARRILITE 2000 Plus also features an improved focus mechanism and a heat-proof handle at the rear of the housing for easier, safer maneuvering while hot.

Secure Accessory Handling

Disc brake technology borrowed from the ARRI True Blue range helps the ARRILITE 2000 Plus hold its position steadily, even with heavier accessories attached, a practical advantage when dialing in and maintaining aim between takes.
