ARRI L5-C LED

These ARRI L5-C LED fresnels have been well maintained and are in good working condition.

Color temperature, tint and hue can be continuously adjusted from 2,800 K to 10,000K, between full plus or minus green and RGBW colors. This makes the ARRI L5-C a flexible key, fill, or accent light for interviews, small studio sets, and location work where you need to quickly match practicals, daylight, or other fixtures without swapping gels.

Tunable, Focusable Fresnel Output

The L5 addition to the L-Series perfectly complements the L7, allowing for more mobile lighting and a wider range of power classes for television studios. Its compact size and low weight allow the L5 to be rigged in tight places and hung from low ceilings. The L5 is also ideal for cramped location shoots and interview setups. Low heat allows safer and more comfortable shooting conditions. This versatility and superb light quality make the L5 a highly anticipated addition to the award-winning L-Series family.

Built around a focusable Fresnel optical system, the beam can be adjusted from 14° to 50° (half peak angle), letting you go from a tighter, punchier pool of light to a wider wash while keeping the Fresnel-style edge control many crews prefer for shaping and spill management.

Efficient Power and Practical Rigging

The L5 is approximately 45 % brighter than a 300 W tungsten Fresnel, but only consumes 115 watts. When compared to the L7, the L5 is half the weight and size.

The lamphead accepts 100 to 240 V input (50 to 60 Hz) and draws up to 115 W. For battery workflows, it supports DC input via a 4-pin XLR (23 to 36 V DC). A 16 mm / 28 mm combo pin (Baby 5/8” / Junior 1-1/8”) and +/- 90° tilt make it easy to integrate into common grip setups, and the adjustable sliding stirrup with high-strength tilt lock helps maintain placement once focused.

Color Control and On-Set Integration

In addition to full RGB+W color control (hue and saturation), the L5-C provides continuously adjustable green-magenta correction (full minusgreen to full plusgreen) for faster camera matching. Dimming is smooth from 0 to 100%.

For control, it supports on-board operation plus 5-pin DMX in/through, with Mini-USB connectivity. Wireless control is not integrated, but can be added via SkyLink.

Quality Metrics and Physical Specs

Rated color performance includes CRI average > 94 and TLCI average > 90, with nominal tolerances of +/- 100 K and +/- 1/8 green-magenta. The fixture measures 394 x 278 x 280 mm (15.5 x 10.9 x 11.0 in.) including pin, and weighs approximately 5 kg (11.1 lbs.). The Fresnel lens diameter is 137 mm (5 in.).
