Description
These Madrix Luna 8 network nodes are in good working condition. They come mounted in a 4U rackmount case.
The MADRIX LUNA reliably distributes DMX512 data over long or short distances using Ethernet network or USB. Its sync mode makes sure that lighting effects look their best on the LEDs.
DMX Over Ethernet for Lighting Control Networks
Designed for permanent installs and touring rigs alike, the MADRIX LUNA 8 acts as a bridge between modern lighting networks and standard DMX512 wiring. Use it to place DMX outputs close to fixtures while running a single Ethernet line back to your console, media server, or control PC, which helps simplify cable runs and reduces clutter in racks and truss.
Protocol Support and I/O
It supports common lighting network protocols including Art-Net (I, II, 3, 4, including ArtSync) and Streaming ACN (sACN / ANSI E1.31), making it straightforward to integrate into existing Art-Net or sACN systems. The unit provides 8 x DMX512 outputs (8 universes) plus 1 x DMX512 input for bringing a DMX line into the network when needed. DMX connections use 5-pin Neutrik XLR connectors (female for outputs, male for input).
Connectivity, Status Indication, and Power
Network connectivity is provided via an RJ45 port with Auto MDI-X and a Neutrik etherCON interface (10/100 MBit/s, compatible with 1 GBit/s). A USB 2.0 type-B port is also included for USB-based workflows. Six status LEDs help confirm link, data, and operating status at a glance.
Power is supplied via AC 100 V to 240 V, 50 to 60 Hz (0.4 A max.) using an IEC C14 inlet, with power consumption under 5 W during normal operation (8.80 BTU/h).
Rack-Ready Metal Enclosure
The metal enclosure includes attached brackets for 19 inch rack mounting. The device is 1U high and measures 76 mm x 440 mm x 44 mm (3 in x 17.32 in x 1.75 in) (body only), and weighs 1.4 kg (3.09 lb).
