The dbx iEQ-31 is a dual-channel 31-band (1/3-octave) graphic EQ and limiter built for shaping and protecting live sound and installed audio systems. It pairs classic, precise EQ control with practical problem-solvers for real-world stages and venues, including AFS feedback suppression, Type V noise reduction, and PeakStopPlus limiting for clean, controlled output when levels get pushed.

Each channel provides 1/3-octave Constant Q frequency bands with smooth 40 mm faders, making it easy to make accurate, repeatable adjustments during setup or while mixing. A switchable +6 dB or +15 dB boost/cut range lets you choose between subtle system tuning or more aggressive corrective EQ, and the 18 dB per octave 40 Hz low-cut filter helps reduce rumble and handling noise before it reaches amps and speakers.

Built-In Protection and Feedback Management

For systems that need to stay stable under changing conditions, AFS feedback suppression helps reduce the risk of runaway feedback, while PeakStopPlus limiting helps protect downstream gear and keep peaks in check. Type V noise reduction supports a cleaner signal path, and comprehensive output and gain reduction metering makes it easier to confirm gain structure at a glance.
