Chroma-Q Brute Force 6
Description
The Chroma-Q Brute Force 6 is a robust, fully dimmable LED lighting system built for high-output film, TV, and studio applications where you need the look of a traditional quarter “Wendy” light with modern control and far lower power draw. Using multiple Chroma-Q Studio Force II 1.2m/48” tuneable white battens, it delivers flexible white light for key, fill, and broad wash, while also supporting pixel-based effects for dynamic scenes.

Tunable White Output and Practical Power Savings
Brute Force has been designed to ensure optimal functionality across a variety of applications, from creating consistent, camera-friendly white light to matching practicals and mixed lighting on set. It provides an extended correlated color temperature range of 2,000K to 10,000K, giving you coverage from warm tungsten looks through cool daylight, with the option to produce tuneable whites, pastel tones, and saturated colours (2,800K - 6,500K / 2,000K - 10,000K extended CCT).
Compared to lamp-based fixtures, Brute Force can help reduce on-set interruptions since there is no downtime due to lamp failures, and it also supports significantly reduced energy consumption (draws just 15 amps @ 240V).
Pixel Control, Effects, and Console Integration
Each unit features mappable pixel control with RDM, DMX, and optional wireless operation, enabling everything from precise cueing to pixel mapping effects such as fire and lightning. With the Studio Force II Cine-Q mode, it is possible to control Brute Force as a variable CCT and an RGB-W mode at the same time and even crossfade from a white point to a saturated color, offering versatile creative control from a lighting desk or media server.
Rigging Flexibility and Modular Use
Brute Force 6 has onboard multi-point fixings to allow easy rigging and the option to combine units to form larger arrays, such as combining four units to create comparable output to a full Wendy light. In addition, the Studio Force II 48 fixtures can be removed from the Brute Force mounting frames and used for other film wash and effects lighting applications.
