The Clay Paky SharBar is an advanced moving LED bar designed for multi-beam looks, sharp mid-air effects, and crisp projections on scenic elements. Each fixture uses six powerful OSRAM Ostar RGBW LEDs rated at 30W, delivering high output and clean color mixing in a compact, durable 15 kg (33 lb) form factor.

Multi-Beam Optics for Mid-Air and Surface Effects

A motorized optical zoom allows a minimum beam angle of 2°, producing six narrow, dense beams that read clearly in haze and maintain definition when aimed at a surface. The SharBar is equipped with lenses engineered to shoot parallel rays of light into the air, enabling tight beam arrays and sharp “bar” looks from a single fixture.

Independent Beam Movement and Fast Tilt

Each LED is paired with a motorized double-mirror optical unit, so every beam can be directed independently of the others. This adds creative control beyond standard tilt, with each of the six beams able to move or lock within a 60° (+/-30°) cone. You can run beams in sync for uniform fan effects, or asynchronously for layered movement and complex aerial patterns. For dynamic repositioning, the SharBar provides 240° motorized tilt in 0.2 seconds.

Control, Color, and Output Shaping

With individual RGBW control per LED, the SharBar supports even RGBW color mixing and precise looks across the bar. A dedicated channel provides linear CTO for quick white-point adjustments, while a 16-bit dimmer enables smooth fades and a 24 Hz strobe supports fast, rhythmic hits. For integration into modern lighting networks, control is available via DMX and ARTNET over Ethernet.
