ETC’s DMX/RDM One-Port Gateway is a compact Ethernet-to-DMX interface designed to distribute lighting control data across a network. Built for Net3 using industry-standard streaming ACN and sACN, it lets you place a single DMX/RDM port where you need it, then route control data over Ethernet to consoles, nodes, and other networked devices.

Networked DMX and RDM Integration

The One-Port Gateway uses bidirectional Ethernet communication with other network devices to send or receive DMX512 and Remote Device Management (RDM) signals. This makes it a practical choice for systems where you want centralized control, flexible system expansion, or remote access to RDM device status and configuration over the network.

Patching Flexibility for Real-World Workflows

Advanced Input Patch (AIP) allows an incoming DMX address to be dynamically patched to any sACN address, while Flexible Output Patch (FOP) lets a 512-address universe begin at any output address. The gateway also supports per-address or per-universe priority, helping you manage multi-source environments (such as merging or prioritizing control sources) without rewiring or reconfiguring your entire system.
