The MA Lighting grandMA2 Full-Size is a powerful lighting control console built for programming and playback in concerts, theatre, broadcast, houses of worship, and large-scale live events. It is designed to run conventional fixtures, moving lights, LED fixtures, and media from a single platform, making it a practical choice when you need one desk to manage complex rigs and fast show changes.

Equipped with modern workflow features like an integrated keyboard drawer and a multi-touch command screen, the grandMA2 Full-Size supports quick command entry, efficient editing, and hands-on playback. The console provides extensive programming depth, including nearly infinite numbers of presets, cues, pages, sequences, and effects, which is especially useful for multi-song setlists, theatre cue stacks, and festivals where you need repeatable looks and reliable playback.

Connectivity, Outputs, and Expandability

This console offers 6 DMX outputs for direct fixture control, along with 2 etherCON connectors and 5 USB 2.0 ports for integrating into a professional production environment. It delivers real-time control for up to 65,536 parameters per session in connection with MA NPU (equivalent to 256 DMX universes), plus 8,192 HTP/LTP parameters, supporting advanced patching and control as systems scale.

Screens, Executors, and Hands-On Control

For day-to-day operation, the layout is built around fast access to playback and on-the-fly adjustments. It features 3 internal TFT wide mode touchscreens (15.4" WXGA), support for 2 external TFT screens (UXGA, touchscreens accepted), and 1 internal multi-touch command screen (9" SVGA). The console also includes 30 motorized executor faders, plus 2 motorized A/B 100mm faders, individually backlit and dimmable silent (clickless) keys, and a motorized monitor wing for responsive, show-ready operation.

Showfile Compatibility and Operation

Moreover grandMA 'series 1'-showfiles can be converted to be used with the grandMA2. And for yet easier operation, all command keys can be found in the same place on every console of the grandMA2 series.
