PERSEO BEAM is the first compact, waterproof multi-function beam effect LED luminaire. Well-suited for use indoors as well as outdoors, it is built for concerts, festivals, architectural events, and touring rigs where weather resistance and long-throw beam performance matter. The fixture is equipped with an ultra-intensive 2° beam and 21x zoom ratio, giving you tight aerial effects for distance work and wider looks for mid-stage coverage.

Beam, Gobo, and Prism Effects for Volumetric Looks

PERSEO BEAM is endowed with unprecedented graphic capability, offering a wide choice of 48 fixed and rotating gobos distributed on two wheels, including 28 glass gobos for the projection of high-definition images and 20 metal gobos specifically created to sculpt light in “beam” mode. These gobos can be blended with four individually combinable rotating prisms that allow you to produce a multitude of volumetric lighting effects, ideal for building layered mid-air textures and dynamic beam breakups.

An RGB/CMY multi-layer gobo lets you generate dynamic multicolour effects. An effect-wheel with continuous rotation in both directions and two frost filters complete the PERSEO BEAM tool palette, giving you the option to soften the beam when you need a more diffused, atmospheric look. Continuous rotation of the pan movement multiplies the possibilities for creating complex effects.

Color System Built for Fast Cues and Precise Correction

PERSEO BEAM is equipped with a highly innovative colour section including a CMY colour mixing system, a progressive linear CTO, an instant-access multi-position colour wheel supplied with four colour-temperature correction filters, and 13 complementary-colour filters on two concentric circles (patent pending). This combination supports both smooth fades and quick color hits, while the CTO and correction filters help match other fixtures and camera requirements more easily.

Optics, Output, and Long-Throw Performance

Fitted with a 168 mm frontal lens, the proprietary optical system uses 13 lenses, producing a zoom range of 2° to 42°. A brand new ultra-compact 450 W monochromatic LED emitter specially developed for long-distance applications can obtain a luminous flux of 18,000 lumens at a colour temperature of 6800 K operating at a steady state. The system is also specified with a 25,000 lumens 9000 K white-light engine, CRI greater than 70, and rated life (L70) up to 40,000 hours.

Movement, Control, and Rig-Ready Reliability

PERSEO BEAM borrows from the same minimalist design as PERSEO PROFILE, incorporating all the waterproof features while being easily accessible and lightweight. The luminaire was designed and developed to operate in the most extreme conditions and resist hot or cold temperatures, rain, sand, dust.
