The Martin MAC Quantum Profile is an extremely bright LED moving head profile fixture built for theatrical, concert, broadcast, and corporate production environments where you need clean white light, accurate framing, and repeatable performance. It combines a flat field and crisp, high-contrast imaging with fast, smooth CMY color mixing and sharp gobo projection on surfaces as well as mid-air.

Designed as the first real alternative to a 700 watt HID fixture, it delivers consistent photometric performance via LED technology while keeping a very low weight and compact form factor for easier rigging and touring workflows.

Optics, Color, and Beam Effects

The fixture includes a full feature set for building looks quickly on stage. A 1:3 motorized zoom and motorized focus with zoom-focus tracking help maintain image sharpness across throws, and an electronic shutter supports variable speed regular and random strobe. CMY color mixing is independently variable from 0 to 100%, and the color wheel provides 6 color filters plus open. For added texture and aerial impact, it includes a rotating three-facet prism and an iris from 0 to 100% with pulse effects.

Gobos and Animation

For pattern projection and scene building, the MAC Quantum Profile offers both rotating and static gobo wheels. The rotating gobo wheel includes 6 interchangeable gobos plus open with wheel rotation, gobo rotation, indexing, and shake. The static gobo wheel includes 10 gobos plus open with indexing, rotation, and shake. It also features the Animotion FX system that allows never-before seen beam animations, and the market is now finally seeing the first real 700/800 W discharge lamp replacement in a profile fixture that effectively harnesses cutting-edge LED technology.

Movement and Control

With super high-speed movements and effects, it provides 540° pan and 268° tilt, with adjustable pan and tilt speed via onboard control panel and DMX. Electronic dimming offers four dimming curve options to better match camera or stage requirements.
