The High End Systems Shapeshifter C2 is a LED moving light built for creating high-contrast, beam-driven looks in concerts, clubs, and theatrical productions. With a custom integrated lens and a tight 10° beam angle, it is designed to deliver defined aerial effects and punchy stage texture, while offering discreet control of its multi-module system for dynamic motion and pattern changes.
Optics and LED System
The fixture uses Cree XPE 2 LEDs rated up to 50,000 hours, paired with a custom integrated lens for clean output and strong beam definition. Indigo backlighter LEDs add additional visual depth to the effect system.
Movement and Effects Control
For programming fast, kinetic looks, the Shapeshifter C2 offers 630° pan and 270° tilt with ultra-fast movement, including max speed pan (360°) in 2.13 seconds and max speed tilt (252°) in 1.63 seconds. Pan and tilt locks support safer handling during transport and setup.
The effect engine features 7 modules with discreet control, including 6 moving modules with 36 degrees of X/Y movement, plus onboard dynamic macros for quickly building complex cues.
Control, Connectivity, and Operation
Control is via DMX 512/RDM with reduced and enhanced protocols, using 28 channels (Standard) or 79 channels (Enhanced). This allows you to balance universe capacity and parameter access based on your rig, with up to 18 fixtures per universe in Standard mode or 6 fixtures per universe in Enhanced mode.
Built for practical deployment and service, the Shapeshifter C2 features fast service design and modular construction. An electronic cooling system with environment fan control helps manage thermal performance, and a full color LCD display with battery mode supports configuration without mains power. Connectivity includes 3-pin and 5-pin male and female XLR connectors, plus a Powercon connector.
