The Hippotizer Amba+ is designed for professional live production workflows where reliable media playback, real-time content management, and high-resolution output matter. It is well-suited for concerts, touring systems, corporate events, broadcast environments, and fixed installations that need a dedicated media server for playback, layering, and routing content to LED walls, projectors, and confidence displays.

Output and Resolution Flexibility

For display connectivity, the system provides (2) DisplayPort 1.2 outputs and supports splitters, making it easier to distribute signals when your workflow calls for mirrored feeds or additional HD outputs (with a splitter). It supports up to 4096 x 2160 max resolution over DisplayPort, and up to 3840 x 1200 max resolution over DVI, helping maintain image detail for wide canvases and high-pixel-count screens.

Capture and Content Workflow Tools

This unit includes a Dual SDI Capture Card for integrating SDI sources into your media server workflow, useful for live camera feeds, graphics, or external playback sources. It also features an optional internal capture card capability (as supported by the platform), plus a removable drive bay as part of the STRATA Caddy system for streamlined media handling and swaps between shows.

Includes 10 free Notch FX's exclusive to Hippotizer+, enabling additional real-time effects options within compatible Hippotizer+ workflows.
