ROBE RoboSpot Motion Camera
Description
The ROBE RoboSpot Motion Camera is a DMX-controlled moving-head camera fixture designed to give a followspot operator a reliable “first person view” for tracking performers across the stage. It combines an integrated full HD camera with remote pan, tilt, zoom, and autofocus control, with video sent to a RoboSpot BaseStation over high-speed Ethernet via a cat5 cable.
These ROBE RoboSpot Motion Camera fixtures have heavy wear but are in good working condition.
Remote followspot viewing over DMX
Built for show control environments, the fixture supports USITT DMX-512 with RDM for addressing and status, and uses a two-row LCD display with four control buttons for straightforward setup. With 8 control channels and 16-bit pan/tilt resolution, movement can be operated in standard or speed modes, with automatic pan/tilt position correction to help maintain consistent framing during cues.
HD camera performance for challenging stage lighting
The integrated SNZ-6320 camera supports 1920x1080 (16:9) full HD video and is optimized for live production conditions, including Day/Night (ICR) switching and Wide Dynamic Range (120 dB) to better handle strong contrast between bright key light and darker backgrounds. Minimum illumination is rated down to 0.3 Lux for low-light scenes.
Zoom, streaming, and connectivity
For tight performer tracking from front of house or other remote positions, the RoboSpot Motion Camera provides 32x optical zoom (plus 16x digital zoom) with 8-bit zoom control. It supports H.264 and MJPEG dual codec streaming with multiple streaming options, and outputs video via an RJ45 connection for fast signal transfer to the RoboSpot BaseStation.
