The Cineo HSX is a color-tunable LED soft light designed for image capture, delivering the same powerful, accurate light output as the HS2 Remote Phosphor fixture. Built on Cineo’s solid-state lighting and material science expertise, HSX provides a 400-watt, 25,000 lumen soft source with the beautiful color rendering and extended deep-red spectrum professionals expect for film, video, and still photography.

Consistent Color, Built for Principle Photography

Unlike other colortunable sources, HSX remains consistent throughout the life of the fixture with no color shift or need for calibration. It is a fixture you can confidently use for principle photography with a spectrum that accurately renders a variety of complex skin tones, saturated colors, and deep textures. Flicker-free operation and smooth dimming make it suitable for high-frame-rate work and close-up talent lighting where artifacts are not acceptable.

Color Tuning and Control Options

HSX offers a wide color tuning range from 2700K to 6000K, with presets at 2700K, 3200K, 4300K, 5600K, and 6000K for fast matching to practicals, tungsten, or daylight-balanced setups. Output is adjustable from 0 to 100% via the simple, intuitive local interface, with DMX and RDM support for integration into studio and on-set lighting control workflows.

On-Set Practicality and System Compatibility

Designed for quiet sets, HSX uses silent, passive cooling with no fans. Color shift is specified at 0% over the full dimming range, with a 3 SDCM variation over 50,000 hours to help maintain consistent results across long-term use. The fixture is 100% compatible with HS accessories, and includes field serviceable components to support working environments where downtime matters. Physical specs include a 12 in H x 21 in W x 8.5 in D (290 mm x 532 mm x 216 mm) housing and a 28 lb build for secure rigging and stand-mounted use.
