Chauvet Professional F5IP is an IP65-rated 5.9 mm pixel pitch LED video panel designed for reliable indoor or outdoor video walls. With a 1920 Hz refresh rate and up to 6,000 NITS brightness (5,000 NITS calibrated), it delivers a clear, vibrant image for live events, touring, broadcast-friendly camera shots, and permanent installs where weather resistance and fast deployment matter. Quick setup is supported by a light-weight die-cast magnesium housing and magnetic assisted hanging features.

Image Quality and On-Camera Performance

F5IP uses high quality black body LEDs to accurately reproduce video at 14-bit grayscale with a 12,000:1 contrast ratio and wide 160°/155° viewing angles for consistent brightness and color across the audience area. It operates on the Novastar A5s receiver card and uses specialized LED dimming control via S-PWM (scrambled PWM), which enhances on-camera performance.

The panel features 14,112 tri-color RGB LEDs (SMD 1921) with a stated 50,000-hour life expectancy, and specified color wavelengths of red (615 to 630 nm), green (515 to 535 nm), and blue (460 to 475 nm). Resolution is 84 x 168 pixels with a 5.9 mm pixel pitch, driven by a 1/7 drive type.

Fast Setup, Flexible Rigging

The 1,000 x 500 x 82.5 mm, 30 lb (13.6 kg) magnesium die-cast housing makes the F5IP among the lightest and slimmest in its class without compromising strength, capable of hanging up to 23 panels vertically safely. A specialized frame design supports overhead hanging, ground stacking, and wall mounting to fit a wide range of event and installation workflows.

Serviceability and Protection for Real-World Handling

Intelligent, high speed magnetic LED modules with dedicated memory store factory calibration, helping maintain optimal image quality and color uniformity while simplifying maintenance. The panel is both front and rear-serviceable, and modules can be pushed out from the rear using the handles, or serviced from the front using the included service tool.

Front LED surface protective design features help reduce handling damage, including 4x stainless steel standing feet to keep the LEDs from touching the floor, a specialized LED board design to improve impact resistance up to 3x that of other panels, and a resilient LED mask design to optimize image viewing angle and uniformity without exposing the LEDs to front or side impacts. Optimized heat dissipation helps maintain even color across the F5IP.
