NEW Elation Proteus Radius

The NEW Elation Proteus Radius is a compact IP66 high-intensity Beam FX fixture designed for powerful aerial looks in demanding environments. Utilizing an efficient 100W Solid State Phosphor-Converted (SSPC) light engine, the fixture projects narrow, intense beams with incredible power at long distances.

With incredibly fast 360 degree movement on both axis, the PROTEUS RADIUS is built for dynamic beam animations and rapid position changes that read clearly from across a venue. For designers who want flexibility without slowing down programming, the fixture pairs CMY color mixing with a deep effects toolset so you can move quickly from clean, piercing beams to layered mid-air textures.

Beam Output and Optical Control

The PROTEUS RADIUS delivers an ultra intense 0.9° beam angle with 2700 lumen total fixture output, driven by a 6000K, CRI 70 SSPC source rated for 10,000 hours of lamp life. Motorized focus helps keep gobo and aerial effects crisp over varying throw distances, while the digital shutter and strobe provide precise output control for hits, accents, and rhythmic looks.

Color, Gobos, Prisms, and Frost Effects

A full CMY color mixing system is complemented by a 25 position color wheel for fast color changes and repeatable palette cues. Two gobo wheels expand visual variety with 13 interchangeable-rotating/indexing metal gobos and 24 static-stamped metal gobos. For beam multiplication and layered aerial effects, the fixture includes an FX package with 4 prisms on dual planes plus dual frost, and it also offers CMY color, gobo, and prism macros for efficient programming.

Control, Networking, and Setup

The fixture supports DMX, RDM, Art-Net, and sACN protocols, with 5pin DMX in/out and RJ45 Ethernet in/out for flexible integration into modern lighting networks. Two DMX channel modes allow you to choose between streamlined control and expanded parameter access. Onboard navigation is handled via a (6) button touch panel with a full color 180° reversible LCD menu display. NFC support is included for compatible workflows.

Touring-Ready, Outdoor-Capable Design

Built in a compact and lightweight housing, the PROTEUS RADIUS is designed for reliable deployment where weather and dust protection matter, and includes FIL (Foam In Lay) polyurethane foam packaging. Power connections use an IP65 locking power cable in.
