NEW Obsidian Netron RDM 10 10-Port RDM Splitter/Node

The NETRON RDM 10 is a first of its kind hybrid splitter. Dual DMX input, 10 port RDM Splitter, Merger and EtherDMX Gateway are unified into the RDM10, with an advanced feature set to cover a wide variety of applications. 99 internal cues, factory and user presets plus external contact closures provide a unique combination of multiple devices to solve many required tasks in one powerful unit.

Built for Reliable DMX/RDM Distribution

Designed for lighting networks that need clean signal routing and flexible control, the 10 assignable DMX outputs let you tailor each port to your rig, whether you are splitting a universe across multiple cable runs, isolating problem lines, or organizing zones by truss, stage, or architectural area. With dual DMX inputs, the RDM 10 supports backup and signal-loss behavior, helping maintain output when a primary feed drops.

Node and Gateway Functionality (Art-Net/sACN)

In addition to splitter and merger duties, the RDM 10 includes an integrated 2-universe Art-Net/sACN node for bridging Ethernet-based lighting control to DMX where you need it. A configurable DMX refresh rate helps you tune output behavior to match fixture requirements and the realities of long cable runs or dense systems.

Onboard Control, Remote Setup, and Show Integration

Setup is accessible locally from the 1.8 inch OLED display with rotary knob, or remotely via the internal webpage for fast changes during prep and troubleshooting. For cueing and automation, the unit provides 99 internal cues with fade and delay times, along with factory and user presets. External contact closures enable straightforward recall of cues or presets from third-party control systems, buttons, or relay interfaces. NETRON CLU support enables remote configuration and firmware updates.

Power, Mounting, and License Notes

The NETRON RDM 10 is housed in a powder-coated aluminum rackmount chassis (482.5 mm length, 146 mm width, 44 mm height) and weighs 1.82 kg. Power options include 100 to 240 V nominal, 50/60 Hz, or PoE 802.3af, with 10W power consumption. It also unlocks ONYX NOVA 4 Universe License.
