NEW Obsidian Netron EN4 XLR sACN Art-Net Node

The Obsidian Netron EN4 is a powerful Ethernet to DMX gateway with four RDM compatible ports. Designed for live production and installations with a rugged housing and high-performance processing, it offers flexible mounting options to cover any situation.

Built for modern networked lighting workflows, the EN4 supports Art-Net and sACN, making it easy to distribute DMX over standard Ethernet for stages, venues, and architectural systems. RDM capability helps streamline fixture management and troubleshooting when your rig requires two-way communication.

Workflow and Control

For fast setup on site, factory and user presets enable plug and play configurations, while the 1.8 inch OLED display with rotary knob provides clear local status and hands-on control. For remote access, the EN4 includes an internal webpage for configuration, plus compatibility with NETRON CLU for remote configuration and firmware updates.

Power, Mounting, and Hardware

The powder-coated aluminum 1/2 rack housing is designed to hold up in touring and permanent installs, with flexible mounting support for wall or DIN rail applications. Power options include line voltage (AC 100-240V nominal, 50/60 Hz) or PoE 802.3af, helping reduce cabling where network power is available. Power consumption is rated at 5W.

Integrated Playback and Cues

The EN4 provides 99 internal cues with fade and delay time, useful for simple standalone playback tasks or maintaining a basic look when a controller is offline.

Compatibility

As a four Universe Node, the EN4 is ideally suited for the powerful ONYX NOVA Edition. It also unlocks the ONYX NOVA 4-Universe License.
