The NEW Kino Flo FreeStyle Air Mini LED DMX Kit is a portable, thin-profile LED panel designed for fast deployment on set while integrating seamlessly into existing FreeStyle workflows. Compatible with FreeStyle mounts, extension cables, and LED-140 & LED-150 Series controllers, the FreeStyle Air Mini adds mobility and a favorable cost of ownership for current FreeStyle owners and operators.

Lightweight Panel Built for Rigging and Daily Handling

The FreeStyle Air Mini arrives ready for stand mounting and overhead placement, with a twist-on mount for light stands, corner bumpers for 4-point hangs, and eyelets that simplify overhead and surface attachment. Its rigid construction helps prevent flex during handling, protecting internal components when moving quickly between setups.

Stable Output and Passive Cooling for Reliable Color

Usable LED life is extended with a proven passively-cooled design that helps keep color and luminosity stable over the rated life of the LEDs. For color-critical work, it delivers strong color metrics (TLCI >96, CRI >96, TM-30-18 Rf=95, Rg=103) and maintains consistency with no color shift while dimming. Light levels also do not change when selecting Kelvin settings, which helps when matching exposures while dialing in color temperature.

Flexible Color Control, Effects, and DMX Integration

The fixture supports Kelvin presets and dial-in color temperature control from 2500K to 9900K, plus Green/Magenta control for camera matching. Advanced color tools include Hue angle and Saturation adjustments, Kino Flo presets and gels, RGB control, CIE xy, FX control, camera profile LUTs, and color space options. It works with apps that provide predetermined RGB presets or color wheels, and preset buttons can store custom Kelvin settings for quick recall.

Power, Dimming, and Serviceability

Designed for quiet, flicker-free operation, the FreeStyle Air Mini supports full-range onboard dimming and DMX dimming, including a DMX wireless link (Lumen Radio) and DMX Auto Terminate. Power is universal, supporting 100VAC to 240VAC or 24VDC, and it is energy efficient, drawing 1.25A at 120VAC and 6.25A at 24VDC. Maintenance is simplified through a user-serviceable design with a removable upper rail and quick access to pull-out LED platens that are easily replaced or repaired. Firmware is updatable from a PC using the Mini B USB data port.
