Wireless Control for Fast, Clean Setups

Built for event uplighting where cables slow you down, the Freedom Par Q9 pairs a built-in D-Fi transceiver for wireless DMX with a built-in RF receiver for quick handheld control via optional RFC or RFC-XL remotes. With a max unobstructed distance of 600 ft (183 m) and an operating frequency of 2.412 to 2.484 GHz, it is a practical fit for ballrooms, stages, and mobile rigs where you need reliable control across the room.

RGBA Color Mixing and Optional Wide Coverage

Nine 6 W quad-color RGBA LEDs (rated 50,000 hours) and new secondary optics are designed for smooth, even blends with nearly no artifacts. Out of the box, the fixture delivers a 19° beam angle and 35° field angle for punchy uplight and tighter accents. When you need broader coverage, the magnetic diffuser snaps on to widen output to a 37° beam angle and 68° field angle, helping a single uplight wash more wall space with less repositioning.

Battery Runtime You Can Match to the Event

Dial in battery performance with adjustable run times of 3, 5, 8, or 12 hours, so you can balance brightness and longevity depending on the show. Recharge time is 3 hours, and onboard charge and discharge protection circuitry helps extend the fixture’s lifespan for frequent event use.

On-Board Setup, Aiming, and Dimmer Control

The full-text OLED display makes it easy to navigate settings on site, while built-in dimming curves support smooth LED fading for fades, cues, and ambient looks. Aim the light precisely using the spring-loaded kickstand, and reduce unwanted glare with the built-in glare shield to help control light spillage and eye fatigue.
