The XB460 is designed to move between crisp beam looks and broader, even coverage thanks to its 6° to 42° linear zoom and heavy frost. A motorized iris (5 to 100%) helps shape the beam for tighter focus on scenic elements or controlled mid-air effects, while the 0 to 100% linear 16-bit dimmer supports smooth fades for theatre, broadcast, and concert cueing.

Color mixing and effects for dynamic looks

For color control, the fixture includes full CMY color mixing, a color wheel with 7 dichroic colors, and variable linear CTO color temperature from 6500K to 2700K for matching warm tungsten looks or cooler daylight tones. Effect options include a rotating gobo wheel with 7 gobos (16-bit), a static gobo wheel with 9 gobos, an animation wheel, and a 5-facet rotating bi-directional prism for layered texture and aerial depth.

Movement and control integration

Fast, repeatable positioning comes from 16-bit pan and tilt control (pan 540° or 630°, tilt 270°). Strobe operation ranges from 1 to 25Hz with synchronized or random modes for music and cue-based environments. For system compatibility, the XB460 supports DMX and RDM, plus ArtNET over RJ45, with 25-channel (Basic) and 36-channel (Extended) control modes. Connectivity includes 5-pin and 3-pin DMX input/output, and an LCD display with onboard control panel for local setup.
