NEW XBlack XB600 Hybrid

The NEW XBlack XB600 Hybrid is a 600 watt, 20,000 lumen hybrid performance moving head profile and wash light that is IP20 rated for indoor use. Using the latest generation LED engine, lens, framing system and zoom ratio combination for maximum light output and control. This rock solid workhorse fixture can be used for anything from aerial effects, tight beams, wide washes, and camera ready key light to cover any live performance needs.

Output, Zoom, and Color Control

Built around a 600 watt LED engine with a minimum rated LED lifespan of 20,000 hours, the XB600 is designed to stay consistent across demanding show schedules. A linear zoom range of 6° to 50° (also listed as 7° to 42°) makes it easy to move from punchy, focused looks to broad wash coverage without changing fixtures. Variable linear CTO lets you tune color temperature from 6500K down to 2700K for cleaner on-camera white balance and smoother transitions between cool and warm looks, while full CMY color mixing and a 6-color dichroic wheel provide fast, repeatable color choices.

Framing, Gobos, and Beam-Shaping

For precise shaping, the XB600 includes a full framing system with four blades and 45° module rotation (16 bit), ideal for cutting light off scenery, masking spill, or creating crisp geometric cuts. Beam and texture tools include a rotating gobo wheel with 7 gobos (16 bit), a static gobo wheel with 8 gobos, and an animation wheel for motion effects. Additional shaping comes from a 5 facet rotating prism (bi-directional), heavy frost for smoothing and widening output, and an electronic iris adjustable from 5% to 100%.

Movement, Dimming, and Effects

High-resolution movement supports accurate positioning and repeatable cues, with pan at 540° or 630° and tilt at 270°, both in 16 bit control. Lighting dynamics are handled with 0 to 100% electronic linear dimming (16 bit) and strobe effects from 1 to 25Hz with synchronized or random options.

Control, Power, and Practical Build Details

The XB600 supports DMX and RDM, plus ArtNET over RJ45 for networked control. It offers 34 channel (Basic) and 54 channel (Extended) modes, and includes an LCD display with onboard control panel for addressing and setup. Data input/output is via 5 pin DMX, and power is True1 with a wide input range of AC 100-240V at 50/60Hz, and a maximum consumption of 850 watts. An advanced cooling system utilizes both liquid cooling and variable speed fans to help manage output over longer runtimes. The fixture is IP20 indoor rated, weighs 66. lbs (30kg), and measures 29” x 15.3” x 11.4” (290mm x 390mm x 740mm).
