The DVI connectors, electro-optical components, and fiber optic cable are integrated as one assembly, providing ease of installation, increased reliability, and better performance by eliminating the interconnections.

Power Options and HDCP Support

This active cable can be powered through the DVI connector or via the included power supply in case the video source has insufficient power to drive the 5V signal lines within the cable. HDTV Extreme cables are HDCP compliant.
