The GefenTV Wireless for HDMI 60 GHz Extender is a wireless solution for extending any HDMI A/V sources to a remote HDMI-compliant display such as satellite boxes, DVD players, and Blu-Ray players. The Wireless for HDMI 60 GHz operates best in open indoor spaces with minimum obstructions between the Sender and Receiver units. Range will be significantly reduced otherwise.

Compatibility and Signal Support

Designed for dependable A/V transport, this extender is fully HDMI 1.3 compliant and HDCP compliant (copy protection signal). It also supports CECS protocol pass-through for compatible setups.

Audio Performance

Uncompressed LPCM audio output is supported at up to 192 KHz (2 channels) and up to 96 KHz (8 channels). AC-3 (Dolbytm Digital) and DTStm are supported at up to 8 channels / 192 KHz, helping preserve multichannel sound when connecting home theater components.

Design, Status Indicators, and Power

A 36-element ceramic antenna array helps with signal reception, and a bank of LED indicators provides at-a-glance operational status. Each unit includes a dedicated system reset button.
