Description
The Monoprice Blackbird 4K 4x4 HDMI Matrix lets you connect up to four HDMI source devices and independently route any source to any of four HDMI displays. It is designed for flexible multi-display setups in home theaters, conference rooms, classrooms, retail signage, and control rooms where you need quick, reliable switching without re-cabling.
Flexible 4K Video Distribution
It supports video resolutions up to 4K@60Hz, plus 3D video and up to 16-bits/channel deep color, making it a practical choice for modern UHD sources and displays. Because each output can be assigned separately, you can mirror the same source to multiple screens or send different sources to different displays at the same time.
Audio Breakout for External Sound Systems
For installations that need audio routed to speakers separately from the display, each video output has a corresponding S/PDIF digital coaxial and 3.5 mm TRS analog audio output for connection to an external amplifier, AV receiver, or powered speakers. It supports high-definition multichannel audio, including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.
EDID Control and On-Unit Management
The built-in menu system and front panel LCD display allow you to independently control the EDID information for each source device, helping improve compatibility when you are mixing different display capabilities across outputs.
