Ocean Matrix HDMI Over IP Extender / HDMI to CAT5/CAT6 Converter
Description
The Ocean Matrix OMX-HDMI-2-IP converter and extender sends HDMI over a local area network (LAN) by first converting the signal from HDMI to TCP/IP. One transmitter can pair with up to 8 receivers over one network with a VLAN switch, making it a practical choice for distributing the same source to multiple displays for digital signage, classrooms, overflow rooms, and remote monitoring.
HDMI Over LAN Distribution (or Point-to-Point Extension)
Use it as an HDMI over IP system when you need flexible routing and one-to-many delivery across your network, or deploy it as a standard point-to-point extender for on-location monitoring and content delivery. With twisted-pair cabling support for Cat5e/6 and RJ45 connectivity, it can extend video up to 120 meters over Cat6 (up to 100 meters over Cat5e), following TIA/EIA-568 B cabling standards.
Video, Color, and Audio Support
The OMX-HDMI-2-IP supports HDMI input resolutions up to 1080p at 50/60Hz (including 480i/p, 576i/p, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p). Output resolutions include 480p, 576p, 720p, and 1080p at 50/60Hz. It supports 24-bit color plus deep color formats including 30-bit and 36-bit deep color, and carries L/R stereo audio for straightforward integration with displays and basic audio playback systems.
