NEW ETC Source 4WRD Color II

Source 4WRD Color II is a high-output RGBA LED retrofit designed to transform an existing ETC Source Four incandescent profile into an additive color-mixing fixture. It delivers saturated washes, fast color changes, and a wide 2,200–6,500 K color temperature range, while reducing energy use and eliminating lamp and gel changes. The upgrade is simple and non-destructive, and takes less than five minutes.

Color Mixing and Optical Compatibility

Built around a new, patented LED array and calibrated color mixing system, Source 4WRD Color II improves brightness, expands gamut, and increases red output (up to 2x), helping deep reds and ambers read more cleanly on stage and on camera. It supports pattern projection (A or B pattern size) and uses a 79 mm gate, and swappable lens tubes from 5 to 90 degrees let you keep the beam control you expect from your Source Four lens inventory.

Power, Dimming, and Control

Source 4WRD Color II uses switched power (100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz) and draws 150 W at full output. It requires power from a non-dimmable source, and is rated for up to 10 fixtures per non-dimmed circuit (R20 module). Dimming and configuration are handled via DMX/RDM over RJ45, with a seven-segment UI for quick setup. Onboard tools include 12 presets and 5 sequences for fast access to common looks.

Performance, Noise, and Camera Support

Designed for modern productions, the fixture offers 1.2K and 20K camera flicker control and a controllable fan, with an average noise level of 27 dBa at 1 m. The L70 rating is >60,000 hours (hours to 70% output), supporting long service life in repertory and installed systems.
