NEW ETC Source Four LED Series 3 Lustr X8 w/ XDLT Shutter Barrel is a professional ellipsoidal LED fixture body designed for precise, repeatable stage lighting with clean shutter cuts and flexible color control. This black fixture combines the Series 3 Lustr X8 eight-color array with the XDLT shutter barrel assembly for long-throw applications where you need strong output, accurate color, and crisp beam shaping.

Source Four LED Light Engine Body with XDLT Shutter Barrel in black. This includes the Source Four LED light engine with the shutter barrel assembly with your choice of an Edison, Stage Pin, or Twist Lock Connector (Choose connector by clicking 'Select Options'), C-clamp, Multiverse Omnidirectional Antenna, Yokemount Antenna Holder, and an A-size pattern holder. 

A Lens Tube is not included (see accessories).

Color, Output, and Tunable White Range

Over a decade of research comes together in the Source Four LED Series 3 fixture. ETC brings the eight-color Lustr X8 array and the tunable white light Daylight HDR array to the professional stage with this fixture. The deep red LEDs in both arrays reveal richer skin tones, bring a deeper dimension to your scenery, and add warmth to sunsets and firelight. With up to 10,889 lumens, a color temperature range of 1900–10450 K, and an L70 rating >54,000 hours, it is built for long runs and consistent performance in repertory and touring environments.

Beam Control and Optics Compatibility

The XDLT shutter barrel provides the framing control expected from an ellipsoidal, and the optical system supports swappable lens tubes for a wide beam-angle range of 5°–90°. Gate size is 80 mm, and aperture size ranges from 6.25–17.5 in depending on the lens tube selected, helping you match the fixture to tight specials, gobo projection, or broader front light.

Control Options and Wireless Integration

In addition to standard DMX-512 and RDM, the fixture supports City Theatrical Multiverse wireless DMX/RDM and contactless setup via NFC using ETC’s Set Light app. Input methods include 5-pin XLR, Multiverse wireless, and NFC, with five operating modes (1–12 channels) to fit different console and networking workflows.

Power, Runtime, and Noise

Power is delivered via Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 TOP, with a wide 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz voltage range for common venue and touring power. Typical wattage is 307 W at 120 V (305 W at 230 V), current draw is 2.6 A at 120 V (1.35 A at 230 V), and inrush is 40 A at 120 V (first half-cycle), 80 A at 230 V (first half-cycle). The fixture is rated for 0°–40° C (32°–104° F) ambient operation and runs at an average of 34 dBA at 1 m for quiet stages and studios.
