NEW ADJ Hydro Profile

Combining an immense 660-Watt cool white LED engine, an impressive 25,000+ lumens, and an expansive feature set, ADJ’s IP65-rated NEW Hydro Profile is a professional moving head profile fixture built for demanding indoor and outdoor productions. Its motorized zoom (6 to 45 degrees), focus, and iris make it easy to dial in anything from tight aerial beams to broader stage coverage, while two frost filters let you transition from crisp projection to softer wash-style output when the scene calls for it.

Precision framing and projection control

A 4-blade rotatable framing system (each shutter rotates +/-60 degrees, plus full shape rotation) supports clean cuts on scenery, IMAG screens, and architectural surfaces, helping you keep light exactly where you want it. For texture and movement, the Hydro Profile includes two gobo wheels (one rotating, one static) with replaceable gobos, plus gobo shake on both wheels to add energy without changing looks. An animation wheel expands the fixture’s ability to create layered motion effects for stage, theatre, and event environments.

Color flexibility for show and camera

The fixture’s CMY color mixing system is paired with a variable CTO flag for matching warmer tungsten looks, and a 7-slot dichroic color wheel plus white (including CTB and High CRI filters). Because colors on the wheel are removable and replaceable, the system can be tailored to touring packages, rental inventories, or venue standards.

Aerial effects, prisms, and output shaping

Two rotating, indexable prisms (6-facet linear and 4-facet circular) broaden beam and gobo effects for concerts and high-impact aerial looks. Frost 1 (heavy) supports a wash effect, and Frost 2 (medium) creates lightly blurred edges for gobo and prism effects when you want a smoother, less clinical projection.

Control, connectivity, and performance setup

The NEW Hydro Profile supports DMX512 with three channel modes (36/50/57), RDM (Remote Device Management), and ADJ Wifly EXR wireless DMX for cleaner rigs where cabling is limited. Dimming is smooth from 0 to 100%, with multiple dim modes and curves, plus selectable LED refresh rates (900 Hz to 25 kHz) to help optimize performance for video and broadcast applications. Pan and tilt movement is wide (540-degree pan, 270-degree tilt) and includes pan and tilt locks for transport and service.

Build and power

Designed for professional workflows, the fixture uses 5-pin XLR in/out for DMX, an IP65 PowerLock input for power, and multi-voltage operation (100-240V, 50/60Hz) with a maximum power consumption of 1088W. Physical specs include 12.5 x 17.0 x 28.3 in (319 x 433 x 720 mm) and 84.9 lbs (38.5 kg).
