The Christie Mirage HD20K-J is a compact 3DLP projector built for high-brightness, high-detail presentations and immersive 3D applications. With 18,000 ANSI (20,000 center) lumens, it is well-suited for large screens and environments with challenging ambient light, while maintaining the color accuracy and image consistency expected from the Christie Mirage J Series platform.

These projectors may show signs of heavy wear & tear but are in good working condition. A road case is included.

Built for Demanding 2D and 3D Workflows

Designed for home theater and entertainment, museums and education, scientific research, manufacturing, and visualization scenarios such as oil and gas exploration, the Mirage HD20K-J delivers visually detailed Full HD output (1920x1080) in a 16:9 aspect ratio. The 3-chip 0.95-inch DLP design and 10-bit color processing support smooth gradients and stable color performance across a wide range of content types.

Brightness, Contrast, and Control

For content where depth and black level matter, the projector pairs a 2,000:1 full on/off contrast specification with a dynamic iris. It supports common video formats including 720p, 1080i, and 1080p/60, along with SD sources (480i/480p). For PC and control-room style content, it also supports data resolutions up to 2048x1536.

Connectivity and Integration

Integration is straightforward with dual DVI digital inputs, HDMI 1.3, and control options via RS-232 and RJ-45 network connectivity. This makes it practical for permanent installs and equipment racks where remote monitoring and centralized control are important.

Power, Lamp, and Physical Considerations

The Mirage HD20K-J uses a 3,000W Xenon bulb (rated up to 750 hours lamp life) and requires 200V to 240V power, with a 5,000W draw. Plan for appropriate electrical service, ventilation, and handling, as the chassis measures 16.50 inches x 24.50 inches x 32.00 inches (H x W x D) and weighs 160 pounds. Internal speakers are not included, which supports dedicated AV system integration.
