The Altman Soft-Lite Jr Baby 1K is a compact, lightweight indirect fill light designed to deliver a very soft, even wash for studio, stage, and location work where space is limited. Its virtually shadowless beam helps reduce harsh facial shadows and smooth out contrast, making it well suited for fill light, close-quarters setups, and evenly lighting larger areas.
Soft, Even Coverage for Broad Areas
The Soft-Lite-Jr. will uniformly illuminate an area 26.5' x 23.8' at a distance of ten feet with a center intensity of 96 foot candles. It will uniformly illuminate an area 20.7' x 19.3' at a distance of ten feet with a center of intensity of 49 foot candles. This wide, indirect coverage is helpful when you need consistent illumination across a set, backdrop, or working area without obvious hot spots.
