This listing is for a Package of (2) ROBE ROBIN Pointe moving lights. They show signs of cosmetic wear and tear, but are in good working condition. These units will be cleaned and tested prior to shipping.

The ROBE Robin Pointe is a Beam, Spot, Wash, and FX all in one moving light!  It's very bright and super fast with a sharp parallel beam that cuts through the air and across video with ease.  It can project static or rotating glass gobos to produce precision in-air and surface images with an even focal plane.  Tight or at full 20 degree zoom, the output is crystal clear and brilliant.  Add in either rotating, 6 way linear or 8 way circular, prisms to create wide reaching effects across any set.

Why the ROBIN Pointe Still Works in Real Rigs

Built around an Osram Sirius HRI 280 W RO short-arc discharge lamp with an integrated reflector and electronic ballast, the Pointe is designed for high-output looks in touring, rental, club, corporate, and broadcast environments. The beam stays crisp through its motorized zoom (up to 20 degrees) and motorized focus, making it a practical choice when you need both tight aerial effects and wider coverage from the same fixture.

Color, Gobos, and Prism Effects

For fast color changes, the color wheel provides 13 dichroic filters plus white. Texture and image work comes from two gobo systems: a rotating gobo wheel with 9 rotating, indexable, replaceable “SLOT&LOCK” glass gobos + open, plus a static gobo wheel with 14 gobos + open. You can layer and expand looks using either the 8-facet circular prism or the 6-facet linear prism, both rotating bi-directionally at variable speeds. A separate, variable frost effect helps soften edges when you want a more diffuse wash-style look.

Movement and Control Options

With 540 degree pan and 270 degree tilt (8-bit or 16-bit resolution), the Pointe supports quick, accurate moves with tracking and vector control. It supports USITT DMX-512 and RDM, plus network control via Art-Net, MA Net, and MA Net2 through the Ethernet port, which helps when integrating into modern lighting networks. Three DMX protocol modes and selectable control channel profiles (24, 16, or 30 channels) make it easier to match the fixture to your console workflow and channel budget.

On-Fixture Setup and Connectivity

Setup is handled through the ROBE Navigation System 2 (RNS2) with a QVGA Robe touch screen, including battery backup and a gravitation sensor for automatic screen positioning. Power connects via Neutrik PowerCon, and data in/out is available on locking 3-pin and 5-pin XLR. The built-in analyser and service log (with RTC) support quicker troubleshooting and maintenance tracking in rental and production inventories.
