Optics and Beam Effects

Beyond its narrow beam, the Hydro Beam X1 is designed to keep your looks versatile. It features an independent frost filter for wash effects when you need softer coverage, plus a 16-facet circular prism that rotates in either direction to widen and multiply the beam for high-impact mid-air effects. Color options include 12 colors plus CTB and UV (with open), while the metal GOBO wheel provides 11 GOBOs plus GOBO reducers (and open) for textured aerial patterns.

Control, Connectivity, and Updates

The Hydro Beam X1 supports DMX512 and RDM control, with 2 DMX channel modes (11/14 channels) for simpler setups or more detailed programming. It is fitted with 5-pin DMX In/Out and locking power In/Out connections, all IP65 rated with rubber protective covers. It also includes Wifly EXR wireless DMX for cable-free control where supported, and offers a USB port for software updates via an IP65 USB connection (with rubber protective covers over connections).

Performance Details for Programming

For smooth cues and repeatable positioning, it provides 540/270 pan/tilt movement, 0-100% smooth dimming, and various strobe speeds. The 9000K color temperature and CRI of 60 are tuned for bright, punchy beam output, especially in haze and atmospheric conditions.
