NEW Chauvet Professional Epix Flex Drive

ÉPIX Flex Drive controls the ÉPIX Flex 20 with 2 plug and play outputs that drive up to 4 ÉPIX Flex 20 at 960 LEDs each. Adding ÉPIX Flex Boost to each output doubles the capacity of the drive to 1920 LEDs or 8 ÉPIX Flex 20, which reduces cost per linear feet. To ease installation, ÉPIX Flex Drive allows for 75ft of extension cables between it and the first ÉPIX Flex 20. Use either pixel control or its simplified 17 / 34-channel control personalities to support changing colors and built-in automatic programs. Webserver is supported for remote configuration and for firmware updates.

Control and Networking for Touring, Rental, and Permanent Install

As the processing and power center of the ÉPIX Flex system, the NEW Chauvet Professional ÉPIX Flex Drive supports DMX, Art-Net, and sACN (streaming ACN), making it easy to integrate into lighting consoles and networked control workflows commonly used in touring, rental staging, and architectural or entertainment installs. It also supports RDM over Art-Net for remote device management, plus a full webserver interface for configuration and firmware updates.

Setup That Scales with Your Pixel Layout

Configuration is handled directly from the built-in OLED display and menu, and you can quickly assign the pixel count per output (2 total) to match your ÉPIX Flex 20 layout. For simple deployments, the 17-channel or 34-channel control personalities provide streamlined color control and access to built-in automated programs. For more detailed effects and mapping, the PIXEL personality enables pixel-level control.

Wiring and Placement Flexibility

Designed to simplify real-world rigging and cable runs, the Flex Drive can be positioned away from the first ÉPIX Flex 20 using extension cabling up to 75 ft (22.9 m). The system supports daisy chaining directly from the 2 outputs, with up to 2 inline ÉPIX Flex 20 per port without Flex Boost, or up to 4 inline ÉPIX Flex 20 per port with Flex Boost. Power and data connectivity include dual Ethernet (RJ45) and dual 5-pin XLR inputs, along with 2 IP65 3-pin output ports for the ÉPIX Flex 20 system cabling.
