The NEW Mega-Lite DRAMA FS-LED 900 is an extremely powerful LED follow spot designed for long-throw highlighting of performers, props, and small stage elements. Faders and buttons are located on the included rail-mounted DMX controller (DMX scene recorder), giving operators direct, hands-on control for live cueing.

Color, CCT, and Beam Shaping Control

The DRAMA FS-LED 900 includes a 5-color wheel that produces a red, green, yellow, blue, orange, and white spotlight. It also features a CTO wheel with 3 CTO filters (4353K, 4997K, and 5062K), used both for adjusting color temperature and the color hue of each primary and secondary color, with fader and DMX control.

The diameter of the spot can be easily adjusted with the unit’s built-in mechanical iris, and the beam can be tailored for the room with an 8° to 13° zoom range. Mechanical focus is provided with fader and DMX control, helping you keep the beam crisp across varying throw distances.

DMX Integration and On-Console Operation

Built around the DMX 512 protocol, the fixture supports 7 DMX channels (Dimmer, Strobe, Iris, Color, CTO, Focus, Zoom) and offers both 3-pin and 5-pin XLR DMX connectors for straightforward integration into professional lighting systems.

Output, Thermal, and Power Details

Light output is driven by a 350W COB LED with a CRI of 91.1> and a CCT of 5080K on open, supporting natural-looking whites and accurate color rendering on stage. The smooth electronic dimmer is controllable via fader and DMX, while the electronic shutter is available via DMX only. The fixture uses an electronic ballast and universal power input (100 to 240V, 50/60 Hz) with panel mount Power Con type in/out connections (Nema 5-15 to Blue power con type cable included). For safe operation, it is rated for a maximum ambient temperature of 40° C and a maximum surface temperature of 60° C.

Mounting and Transport-Friendly Build

The unit ships with a black diecast aluminum stand and uses a mounting yoke for stand mounting. Its compact design supports easier transport and use in cramped spaces, while the digital display keeps setup and status easy to read during load-in and operation.
