NEW Mega-Lite MB1

The NEW Mega-Lite MB1 is a powerful beam moving head fixture built around an 80W LED, delivering strong output and long throw from a compact housing. It is equipped with an 8-facet and linear prism that can together create a unique aerial effect. The unit features a frost filter, remote focus, fixed gobo wheel and color wheel that can be used to generate a variety of color and visual combinations.

Beam Effects and Aerial Looks

With a tight 0.85º beam angle, the MB1 is designed for defined beams and long-throw looks, especially in haze or atmospheric conditions. Combine the 8-facet circular prism and 6-facet linear prism to multiply the beam and build layered mid-air effects, while the soft frost filter lets you take the edge off for a smoother, more diffuse output when the scene calls for it.

Color, Gobos, and Focus Control

Shape the look quickly with a 13-color wheel plus open and a multi-color effect for faster color changes and dynamic chases. The fixed gobo wheel includes 9 fixed gobos plus 2 beam reducing gobos for added variety and beam shaping. Mechanical focus (remote focus control) helps keep patterns and beams crisp across different throw distances.

Movement, Control, and Integration

Wide movement ranges support flexible placement and programming, with 540° pan and 270° tilt (8/16-bit) for smooth fades and accurate positioning. For control integration, the MB1 offers both 3-pin and 5-pin XLR DMX connectors, making it easy to drop into existing mobile, installed, or touring-style DMX rigs.

Built for Real-World Use

The MB1 can be used in multiple applications such as mobile DJ, church, theater and even club environments. It uses an auto-switching power supply (100V to 240V, 50/60Hz) and PowerCON-type power connections. For fast rigging, it includes two quick-release bi-directional clamp mounts. Thermal ratings include a maximum ambient temperature of 110°F and a maximum surface temperature of 140°F.
