NEW Mega-Lite MS1

The NEW Mega-Lite MS1 is a compact moving head spot that is equipped with a bright 150W LED for punchy beams and eye-catching aerial looks in venues like churches, theaters, mobile DJ rigs, and clubs. Built for versatility, it combines fast, precise movement with creative beam-shaping tools to help you build dynamic, multi-colored effects without a large fixture footprint.

Fast, precise movement for dynamic looks

Powered by strong stepper motors, the MS1 delivers smooth motion with 540° pan and 270° tilt, taking only 1.8 seconds for a complete 540° pan and 0.9 seconds for a complete 270° tilt. Pan and tilt are available in 8/16-bit for responsive positioning and finer movement control.

Built-in effects for beam and texture control

For quick scene changes and layered looks, the MS1 includes two prisms (a 6-facet circular overlay prism and a 4-facet circular overlay prism), plus a 3 segment animation effect for added motion and texture. It also features 6 bi rotational gobos (not removable) and a mechanical focus so you can sharpen the projection for crisp patterns or soften it for atmospheric looks.

Color, shutter, and control connections

Create bold color changes and chases with 7 colors + open, and add punchy accents using the electronic shutter strobe, up to 18 flashes per second. For integration into a wide range of lighting systems, the MS1 provides both 3-pin and 5-pin XLR DMX connectors. Power is handled via Power Con Type In/Out, and the auto-switching power supply supports 100V to 240V, 50/60Hz.

Thermal management and physical details

Intelligent thermo-sensing fans manage heat (the fan will engage over 104° F). Maximum ambient temperature is 110°F, and maximum surface temperature is 140°F. The fixture uses an LCD display for on-unit setup, includes two quick release bi directional clamp mounts, and is sized at 11.8’’ x 9’’ x 18.75” with a weight of 24.5 lb. Power consumption is 236W (2.97A) with an electronic ballast.
