The Elation Protron 3K LED Strobe is a high-powered LED strobe built for concerts, tours, clubs, and event production where intense, wide-coverage white strobe looks are required. It features 80,000 lumens from (200) CREE 3W Cool White LEDs with a 120° beam angle to fill stages and large rooms evenly, even when the fixture is mounted close to the performance area.

Output Control and Strobe Looks

For cueing and camera-ready effects, the Protron 3K provides electronic dimming and strobe effect macros including burst, pulse, lighting, and full ON* for quick access to common looks without complex programming. Two power modes (HIGH or LOW) let you balance maximum punch with reduced output when heat, power availability, or longer runtimes are priorities.

DMX Connectivity and Onboard Operation

Integration into professional lighting rigs is straightforward with 3/5pin DMX in/out connections, powerCON in/out, and four DMX channel modes (1 / 2 / 3 / 4) to match your console workflow. A 4 button LCD control panel makes it easy to set addressing, modes, and fixture behavior at the unit when working standalone or during setup.

Thermal Management and Rigging

Two silent cooling fans help maintain stable performance in demanding environments, and the full ON* effect is thermally regulated (max 10 seconds) to protect the LEDs. The integrated rigging yoke supports flexible hanging or floor positioning for stage washes, audience hits, and blinder-style strobe accents.
