NEW Hive Lighting Wasp 100-C Open Face Omni-Color LED

The NEW Hive Lighting Wasp 100-C Open Face Omni-Color LED is Hive Lighting's first LED, built for filmmakers and photographers who need fast, precise control of both output and color. Using only 100 Watts, it has the output of a 650 Watt incandescent and features Hive's Perfect S.H.O.T. system for complete output and color control.  With 98 CRI and 97 TLCI, the Wasp 100-C is designed to render skin tones and product colors accurately on camera, reducing the time spent correcting color in post.

Color Control for Creative and Matching Workflows

The Wasp 100-C delivers true Omni-Color flexibility with 360 degree hue control, 0 to 100% saturation, and a wide 1,650K to 8,000K color temperature range. This makes it easy to match practicals, blend into existing ambient light, or create bold, stylized looks without gels.

Output Shaping and Accessory Compatibility

As an open-face fixture, the Wasp 100-C is well suited to modifiers and light-shaping tools. It works with hundreds of accessories, making it a practical choice for studio setups, mobile kits, and rental-friendly workflows where you may need to switch quickly between hard light, softened looks, or more controlled beams.

Flexible Power and Control Options

Control is available via manual controls, DMX, or smartphone for straightforward integration into both small crews and larger lighting grids. The fixture can run off battery (not included) or universal wall power, using a 100 to 240 VAC input via power supply, and it also supports 12 to 28 VDC input via 4-Pin XLR for on-location powering options.

Compact Build for Location and Studio

Designed for lightweight rigs and travel, the Wasp 100-C weighs only 5 lbs (2.3 kg) and features a 7.5 in (190mm) length by 4 in (100mm) diameter body, with a 5 in (127mm) reflector face.
