NEW Hive Lighting Hornet 200-C Adjustable Fresnel Omni-Color LED

The NEW Hive Lighting Hornet 200-C Adjustable Fresnel Omni-Color LED is a compact, high-output LED fixture designed for controlled, color-accurate lighting on set, in studio, or on location. Hive Lighting’s Adjustable Fresnel attachment fits on the front of the Hornet and gives users control over the beam angle, from a full flood to tight spot, making it easy to shape light for interviews, product work, and dramatic key or accent lighting.

Adjustable Fresnel Beam Control

The included spot-to-flood Fresnel lens provides hands-on control of coverage, so you can quickly widen the beam for soft, even fill or tighten it for a more focused punch. The Fresnel can be used with the included 5″ barndoors for fast cut and flagging, a separate HDP lens set (not included), or any standard 5″ speed ring (not included), helping the Hornet 200-C integrate into existing modifier workflows.

Omni-Color Output for Creative and Accurate Results

Built around an Omni-Color LED engine, the Hornet 200-C offers 360° hue control, 0–100% saturation, and 0–100% dimming for smooth intensity changes without needing gels. Dial in white light from 1,650K to 8,000K to match practicals, daylight, or mixed lighting environments, with color fidelity rated up to 98 CRI / 97 TLCI for consistent skin tones and reliable camera capture.

Power and Control Options for Set and Location

With a 150W draw (700–1000W incandescent equivalent), the Hornet 200-C runs off a battery (not included) or universal wall power and is compatible with hundreds of accessories. Control is available via manual operation, DMX, or smartphone, supporting everything from simple stand-alone setups to multi-light, console-driven productions. Power input includes 24–36V via XLR and 100–240V via universal wall/battery for flexible deployment across studios and travel kits.

Compact Form Factor for Rigging and Transport

Measuring 9 in (229mm) long and 4 in (100mm) in diameter, and weighing 2.6 lb (1.3 kg), the Hornet 200-C is sized for tight spaces, mobile rigs, and quick repositioning during shoots.
