NEW Chauvet Professional Maverick MK Pyxis is a compact RGBW LED moving head built for beam and wash looks, with continuous 360° pan and tilt movement for sweeping aerial effects and dynamic pixel-mapping. A ring of nine 15 W RGBW LEDs delivers variable coverage with a wide 7° to 45° motorized zoom, while a dedicated 60 W RGBW center pixel adds a tight 3° beam for punchy, focused color effects.

Beam, Wash, and Pixel Effects in One Fixture

The Maverick MK Pyxis is designed to move quickly between narrow beam work and wider wash applications. Pixel control across the outer ring helps create chases, eye-candy, and graphic looks, while built-in color macros and color effects speed up programming for live shows, broadcast environments, and installed venues.

Color, Gobo, and Atmosphere Tools

For fast palette selection, the fixture includes a virtual color wheel with instantaneous access to 21 colors, plus color temperature presets and a 2,800 to 10,000 K color temperature range for matching camera or existing rig looks. A built-in virtual gobo wheel with background colors adds atmospheric texture when used with haze or fog.

Flexible Control and Networking

Choose from DMX, sACN, Art-Net, or W-DMX for control, with Kling-Net support for pixel workflows. RDM is enabled for remote addressing and troubleshooting, and the fixture can convert TCP/IP to DMX to help shorten data cable runs in networked systems.

Performance, Dimming, and Operation

Electronic dimming and shutter/strobe (0 to 20 Hz) provide smooth fades and crisp hits, supported by 2 dim modes and 4 dim curves. Move-in-black helps keep position changes clean, and selectable PWM (600 Hz to 15,000 Hz) supports flicker-sensitive environments. Quiet operation makes it suitable for a wide range of installation situations.
