LiteGear LiteMat 2L Hybrid

The LiteGear LiteMat 2L Hybrid is a thin, lightweight LED light panel built for fast, soft illumination on set. It is based on two tiled light engines measuring 9.5 in. x 19 in. (240 mm x 480 mm). The head unit features 576 genuine VHO Pro LEDs and is covered by a thin, clear polycarbonate layer and bordered entirely with Velcro loop fastener.

The “soft-through-pixelization” method allows the LiteMat 2L to achieve surprisingly bright light levels while remaining under 1 in. thick and weighing just 3.5 lb. In practical use, that makes it easy to rig in tight spaces, keep handheld or boom setups comfortable, and move quickly between locations without adding bulk.

Color Control for Mixed Lighting

With a variable 3200-6000K CCT, the LiteMat 2L can warm up to blend with tungsten sources or cool down to match daylight and many practical fixtures. High color fidelity helps maintain natural skin tones and consistent color across shots, with CRI 95 and TLCI (2012) 92.

Output, Power, and On-Set Practicality

The panel outputs 5496 lumens while running on 12V DC at 7.7 amps, making it a strong fit for battery-based workflows and other 12V power solutions. The compact physical profile (40" x 11.5" x 0.9") and low weight (3.5 lbs) support flexible placement for interviews, small spaces, automotive interiors, and quick fill or edge light where a conventional fixture would be too large.
