Description
The Chimera Daylite Plus 1, Small is a 24" x 32" lightbank designed for use with a Fresnel HMI or hotlight up to 4000 Watts and diameters from 9" to 21.5". The extra depth of the Daylite allows the fresnel beam to spread out and cover the front face more evenly, helping you get a more consistent, usable field of soft light on set.
Optimized for Fresnel Beam Control
Built specifically for narrow-beam fixtures, this Daylite Plus 1 supports Fresnel HMI and tungsten hot lights where efficient beam spread and even illumination matter. The increased depth helps reduce hot spots and makes it easier to fill the front aperture evenly, which is especially helpful when lighting faces, interviews, and medium-sized product setups.
Heat-Ready Design for High-Wattage Fixtures
This extra depth, combined with a Fabric that is more heat resistant, makes the box safe when used with a 4,000 Watt light. Durable construction supports regular production use while keeping the system straightforward for crews who need reliable softening and shaping from high-output fixtures.
