NEW Koto Lamp DI-25

The NEW Koto Lamp DI-25 is a 115V, 2500 watt metal halide lamp built for stage, studio, and film lighting where high output and consistent color matter. Koto Electric is considered to be the pioneer of high-quality specialty lamps for stage, studio and film. Di-Lite metal halide lamps are about 3 times brighter than comparable tungsten-halogen lamps, with lumen efficiency of 85-108 lm per watt. They also generate considerably less heat than tungsten-halogen lamps. These metal halide lamps have a Color Rendering Index of more than 90, making them a great combination of high efficiency and high color rendering for color-critical applications.

With a 6,000K color temperature and a claimed CRI above 90, the DI-25 is suited to camera and studio environments that demand accurate color rendering under intense illumination. The metal halide design also helps reduce power consumption compared to tungsten-halogen options while supporting smaller fixture designs due to the high lumen package per watt.

The DI-25 is rated at 240,000 lumens and a 500 hour lifespan. It measures 355mm end to end, and the bulb is 290mm by 32mm. This double end lamp uses Sfa21-12 ends, making it a match for fixtures designed for that base and physical size (always confirm your fixture requirements before installation).
