High Output with Efficient Light Production

Di-Lite metal halide lamps are about 3 times brighter than comparable tungsten-halogen lamps, with lumen efficiency of 85-108 lm per watt. They also generate considerably less heat than tungsten-halogen lamps, helping reduce heat load on talent and sets while supporting longer sessions under lights.

Color-Critical Performance

These metal halide lamps have a Color Rendering Index of more than 90, making them a great combination of high efficiency and high color rendering for color-critical applications. The DIS-8H UV-B produces 64,000 lumens at a 5,800K temperature for a clean, daylight-balanced look that is well-suited to many studio workflows.

Lower Power Draw, Smaller Fixture Potential

Metal halide lamps require less power consumption than tungsten-halogen lamps, while allowing a smaller fixture size due to their large lumen package per watt.

DIS-8H UV-B Specifications and Fit

The DIS-8H UV-B is a 95V, 800 watt metal halide lamp with 64,000Lm, 5,800K temperature, UV blocking, and a 1000 hour lifespan. It measures 145mm by 31mm. This single end lamp uses G22 prongs, making it a direct fit for fixtures designed around the G22 base format.
